Airbus A319 C-GBIK Aviationtag Edition

This edition brings back a distinctive chapter of Air Canada history — built from an Airbus A319 whose story went far beyond regular passenger service. In its later Jetz chapter, C-GBIK belonged to Air Canada’s premium charter world for sports teams, entertainment groups, and corporate clients, and in 2021 it was even visible in the orbit of Justin Trudeau, the former Prime Minister of Canada.

Today, Trudeau is making headlines beyond politics as well, including through his relationship with pop star Katy Perry. That makes it even more intriguing to look back at an aircraft that was already visible in his orbit years earlier.
