Our journey begins with the Boeing 737-200 C-GNAU, a legendary workhorse that has weathered over four decades of aviation history. From its early days with Piedmont Airlines to crisscrossing the skies under the banners of USAir and US Airways, this Boeing 737-200 has a storied past.
At Air North, NAU, along with C-FJLB launched the airline into jet service with scheduled flights from Whitehorse to Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary before retiring to make room for a B737-400 and four B737-500’s.
Retired in 2011 and rested in Whitehorse until Aviationtags breathed new life into its wings in 2024, the C-GNAU now takes its place in the Air North Collection. This Aviationtag edition preserves the history and journey of this remarkable aircraft, offering enthusiasts a unique connection to the world of aviation.
