Aviationtag EI-CVC – Black/White

The black-and-white color variant of the Aviationtag EI-CVC Edition places the identity of the Airbus A320 MSN 1443 in the spotlight. The aircraft began its service in 2001 as EI-CVC with the baptismal name “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn” at Aer Lingus, flew for many years for the Irish airline, and was a familiar sight at Irish and British airports. Until 2024, it was operating in the European route network before completing its last flight to St. Athan, where it was prepared for upcycling.

From sections of the original aircraft skin, aircraft tags are now created, where white lacquer surfaces meet dark inscriptions and markings. On some specimens, remnants of the registration or technical markings can still be discerned, directly referencing the former role of MSN 1443 as a full-fledged airliner. Each Aviationtag is carefully cut and refined in Germany, ensuring that the history remains visible while the material begins a new life as a high-quality aircraft tag. The black-and-white variant particularly appeals to collectors who like to trace exactly which part of an aircraft their piece comes from. The graphic effect comes from inscriptions and markings typical for an Airbus A320 in daily operation, creating a direct link to the EI-CVC “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn.”

As part of the limited EI-CVC Edition, this color variant is only available in a limited quantity available. It connects the technical side of the registration EI-CVC with the emotional Memory of an Aer Lingus aircraft that has seen European skies for over two decades.

Note: Every tag from the EI-CVC edition is one of a kind. Each Aviationtag is cut from original aircraft skin of the Aer Lingus Airbus A320 EI-CVC (MSN 1443, “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn”) and therefore differs slightly in feel, material thickness and colour. Small irregularities tell the story of many years in European airline service and highlight the character of bygone days. Minor scratches, paint chips and surface variations are completely normal and give the Aviationtag its special charm – the charm of a genuine vintage product made from upcycled aircraft materials. These features are not caused by the production process but reflect the authentic condition of the original EI-CVC aircraft material.

When using your tag as a keychain or luggage tag, we recommend adding the Aviationtag cover for extra protection.
