Aviationtag EI-CVC – Green

The green color variant of the Aviationtag EI-CVC Edition brings the story of the Airbus A320 MSN 1443 back in its most Irish form. The aircraft was built in 2001, when EI-CVC was delivered to Aer Lingus with the baptismal name “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn” and remained with the Irish airline for its entire active life. From Dublin, it served classic city connections to London, Manchester, or Amsterdam, as well as holiday destinations around the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands.

As one of the A320s in the well-known Aer Lingus livery, EI-CVC was a constant companion for many travelers on business trips and holiday flights. In 2024, its career ended with the transfer to St. Athan, where the aircraft skin of MSN 1443 was secured for upcycling. From this material, the green Aviationtag is now created, making the memory of the Shamrock era tangible. Each aircraft tag is handcrafted from the original aircraft skin, cut and refined. The rich green shows fine traces from daily operations, slight shading, and subtle signs of wear. Thus, each aircraft tag becomes a very personal piece of Aer Lingus history, directly linked to EI-CVC “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn.”

Whether on the suitcase, on the keychain, or as a collector's item on the shelf – the green variant immediately makes it clear where it comes from. The EI-CVC Edition is strictly limited, and the Irish green color variant is the most direct reference to the long service of the Airbus A320 MSN 1443 with Aer Lingus.

Note: Every tag from the EI-CVC edition is one of a kind. Each Aviationtag is cut from original aircraft skin of the Aer Lingus Airbus A320 EI-CVC (MSN 1443, “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn”) and therefore differs slightly in feel, material thickness and colour. Small irregularities tell the story of many years in European airline service and highlight the character of bygone days. Minor scratches, paint chips and surface variations are completely normal and give the Aviationtag its special charm – the charm of a genuine vintage product made from upcycled aircraft materials. These features are not caused by the production process but reflect the authentic condition of the original EI-CVC aircraft material.

When using your tag as a keychain or luggage tag, we recommend adding the Aviationtag cover for extra protection.

Airbus A320 EI-CVC: Airbus A320 EI-CVC with manufacturer’s serial number MSN 1443 is a twin-engine, short- to medium-haul narrowbody aircraft built by European manufacturer Airbus S.A.S. As part of the A320 family, it connected Dublin with numerous destinations in the UK and across Europe for more than two decades. The A320 was the world’s first production airliner with full fly-by-wire controls and side sticks, earning it the nickname “Atari jet” – EI-CVC “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn” relied on this technology every day in regular airline service.
