Aviationtag EI-CVC – Green

The green color variant of the Aviationtag EI-CVC Edition brings the history of the Airbus A320 MSN 1443 back to life in its most Irish form. The aircraft was built in 2001 and delivered to Aer Lingus as EI-CVC, bearing the name “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn”. It remained with the Irish airline throughout its entire active service life. For many years, it operated classic city routes from Dublin to London, Manchester, and Amsterdam, as well as holiday destinations around the Mediterranean and in the Canary Islands.

As one of the A320s in the familiar Aer Lingus livery, EI-CVC was a constant companion for many travelers on business trips and holiday flights. Its career ended in 2024 with its transfer to St. Athan, where the aircraft skin from MSN 1443 was salvaged for upcycling. Today, this material is used to create the green Aviationtag, making the memory of the Shamrock era tangible. Each aircraft tag is hand-cut from the original aircraft skin and finished by hand. The rich green color reveals fine traces of daily operations, subtle shading, and delicate signs of wear. This makes every aircraft tag a highly personal piece of Aer Lingus history, directly linked to EI-CVC “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn”.

Whether attached to a suitcase or key ring, or displayed on a shelf as a collector’s item, the green variant immediately makes its origins clear. The EI-CVC Edition is strictly limited, and the Irish-green color variant is the most direct reference to the Airbus A320 MSN 1443’s long service with Aer Lingus.

Note: Every tag from the EI-CVC edition is one of a kind. Each Aviationtag is cut from original aircraft skin of the Aer Lingus Airbus A320 EI-CVC (MSN 1443, “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn”) and therefore differs slightly in feel, material thickness and colour. Small irregularities tell the story of many years in European airline service and highlight the character of bygone days. Minor scratches, paint chips and surface variations are completely normal and give the Aviationtag its special charm – the charm of a genuine vintage product made from upcycled aircraft materials. These features are not caused by the production process but reflect the authentic condition of the original EI-CVC aircraft material.

When using your tag as a keychain or luggage tag, we recommend adding the Aviationtag cover for extra protection.

Airbus A320 EI-CVC: Airbus A320 EI-CVC with manufacturer’s serial number MSN 1443 is a twin-engine, short- to medium-haul narrowbody aircraft built by European manufacturer Airbus S.A.S. As part of the A320 family, it connected Dublin with numerous destinations in the UK and across Europe for more than two decades. The A320 was the world’s first production airliner with full fly-by-wire controls and side sticks, earning it the nickname “Atari jet” – EI-CVC “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn” relied on this technology every day in regular airline service.

Yes, small dents, scratches, paint chips or other signs of use are possible. These marks do not come from production, but from the aircraft’s time in service, flying millions of miles and being exposed to weather, UV radiation and extreme conditions at high altitude. They are part of what makes every Aviationtag unique – a genuine piece of aviation history.
