A young aircraft with an extraordinary story: SU-GFA brings the Airbus A220 to your Aviationtag collection for the first time.

Built in Mirabel, Canada, in 2019, this A220-300, serial number 55061, made its maiden flight on October 15, 2019. It joined EgyptAir’s fleet that same year and connected Cairo and Tel Aviv for Air Sinai in an all-white livery without visible airline branding. In 2021, its journey took it to Nigeria, where it flew for Ibom Air on lease and received the airline’s colours. After returning to EgyptAir in 2022, it flew in white again before entering storage shortly afterwards.

Following its sale to Azorra, the aircraft received the registration N560AZ. In 2025, it became the first Airbus A220 dismantled for spare parts in the United States. Just five and a half years separated its maiden flight from its teardown. Its components now help keep other A220 aircraft flying.

Part of its original aircraft skin begins a new chapter with Aviationtag. Handcrafted in Germany and individually engraved, each tag carries traces of the aircraft’s past. As a keyring, luggage tag or collectible, your Aviationtag preserves a piece of this remarkably short and varied flying career, ready to accompany you on journeys of your own.

Please note: Every Aviationtag is a unique piece made from the original aircraft skin. Colour, material thickness and surface texture may differ from the images shown. Small scratches, dents and paint chips are part of the character of the used material and tell the story of its previous life as an aircraft. These individual traces make your Aviationtag an authentic piece of aviation history. For protection during everyday use, we recommend the Original Aviationtag Cover. If you prefer to display your tag as a collectible, the Aviationtag Collectors Frame showcases it together with its card.

Airbus A220-300: Originally developed by Bombardier as the C Series, the Airbus A220 joined the Airbus family in 2018. The aircraft family comprises the shorter A220-100 and the larger A220-300, formerly known as the CS300. Distinctive features include a five-abreast cabin with a 2-3 seating layout, large windows and two Pratt & Whitney PW1500G geared turbofan engines. Advanced materials, including aluminium-lithium in the fuselage and composites in the wings, contribute to its efficient design. SU-GFA was an A220-300 built in Mirabel, Canada, in 2019.

We ship to most countries worldwide, with only a few exceptions. For most destinations, we offer standard shipping with DHL – our Economy Class – as well as express shipping with DHL Express – our First Class. The exact shipping costs depend on the destination country, shipping method and weight of your order and will be calculated for your delivery address at checkout.

Delivery time depends on whether you choose standard shipping or express shipping. With DHL Express, your order usually reaches you worldwide within a few days. Standard shipping can take significantly longer depending on the destination country; for distant countries and due to customs processing in the destination country, delivery may take up to 6 weeks.

For orders to Germany, the EU, the United Kingdom and the USA, all fees are already covered with your order; there should be nothing extra to pay upon delivery. For all other countries, your home country may charge additional duties, taxes or fees upon import, which must be paid by you. These costs are set by the local authorities and are outside our control.

Yes, small dents, scratches, paint chips or other signs of use are possible. These marks do not come from production, but from the aircraft’s time in service, flying millions of miles and being exposed to weather, UV radiation and extreme conditions at high altitude. They are part of what makes every Aviationtag unique – a genuine piece of aviation history.

If you lose your Aviationtag, our Lost & Found Service can help: simply register it on our “Register” page using the serial number, aircraft registration and your contact details.
