Christmas gift for true aviation nerds

The Aviationtag Christmas edition 2025 is back – this time in the form of the legendary Queen of the Skies, the Boeing 747 F-GTUI. Each Christmas Aviationtag is made from the original aircraft skin of this former Corsair jumbo and is thus a real aviation souvenir.

The edition is strictly limited to only 550 pieces worldwide. Each individual Aviationtag is unique with its own signs of use and slight color nuances – traces of many holiday flights from Paris-Orly to vacation destinations around the globe.

The festive extra is provided by a special, Aviationtag-typical Christmas engraving that transforms the luggage tag made from upcycled aircraft material into a special gift for aviation geeks, frequent flyers, and collectors of aircraft tags.

Each Christmas Aviationtag also comes with a neutral Christmas card for self-addressing and a matching envelope, so you can send your gift directly.

Upcycling, limited edition and real aircraft history – this Aviationtag from the Boeing 747 F-GTUI is the perfect gift if a piece of real aviation is to be under the tree this year.

Christmas with the Boeing 747 F-GTUI

The Aviationtag Christmas Edition 2025 brings a true classic under the Christmas tree: the legendary Boeing 747 F-GTUI. The four-engined jumbo first took to the skies in the early 1990s and later flew for French leisure carrier Corsair, operating long-haul holiday flights from Paris Orly to the Caribbean, Africa and the Indian Ocean.

After its final commercial flights, F-GTUI retired from passenger service and now continues its story as an aircraft tag made from original aircraft skin. Parts of the fuselage were transformed into upcycled aircraft material for our limited Aviationtag editions.

A touch of Christmas magic from aircraft skin

For the 2025 Christmas edition we used this material to create a strictly limited run of just 550 Christmas Aviationtags. Each plane tag made from aircraft material is unique, features a special festive engraving and comes with a neutral Christmas card and matching envelope. This way, the last Corsair Boeing 747 becomes a very personal aviation collectible and the ideal gift for aviation geeks, frequent flyers and collectors of plane tags.

We ship to most countries worldwide, with only a few exceptions. For most destinations, we offer standard shipping with DHL – our Economy Class – as well as express shipping with DHL Express – our First Class. The exact shipping costs depend on the destination country, shipping method and weight of your order and will be calculated for your delivery address at checkout.

Delivery time depends on whether you choose standard shipping or express shipping. With DHL Express, your order usually reaches you worldwide within a few days. Standard shipping can take significantly longer depending on the destination country; for distant countries and due to customs processing in the destination country, delivery may take up to 6 weeks.

For orders to Germany, the EU, the United Kingdom and the USA, all fees are already covered with your order; there should be nothing extra to pay upon delivery. For all other countries, your home country may charge additional duties, taxes or fees upon import, which must be paid by you. These costs are set by the local authorities and are outside our control.

Yes, small dents, scratches, paint chips or other signs of use are possible. These marks do not come from production, but from the aircraft’s time in service, flying millions of miles and being exposed to weather, UV radiation and extreme conditions at high altitude. They are part of what makes every Aviationtag unique – a genuine piece of aviation history.

If you lose your Aviationtag, our Lost & Found Service can help: simply register it on our “Register” page using the serial number, aircraft registration and your contact details. For tags with a NoLongerLost QR code, scan the code on the back with your smartphone or enter the 8-digit code on nolongerlost.com to register your tag. If your Aviationtag is found, the finder can scan the code or report it to us, and we will do our best to help bring it back to you.
