Aviationtag x Iron Maiden Edition: Ed Force One

Our exclusive Aviationtag x Iron Maiden Edition "Ed Force One" was made from original aircraft skin of the legendary Boeing 747-400 with MSN 32868 – an aircraft with a tumultuous history.

In March 2003, the aircraft was initially delivered to Air France and registered as F-GITH. In 2015, it transferred to Air Atlanta Icelandic, where it flew as TF-AAK. Just a year later, it became world-famous as Ed Force One when it accompanied Iron Maiden on their "The Book of Souls" world tour – with none other than frontman Bruce Dickinson himself in the cockpit.

'After her time as a "flying tour bus" for the metal legends, she flew for former Saudi Arabian Airlines starting in August 2016, before being retired in 2022. In 2024, she was finally decommissioned – but we have made it our mission to preserve a part of her history together with Iron Maiden!'

In our Cologne manufactory, we have carefully processed original parts of this extraordinary aircraft and transformed them into unique Aviationtags. The front features the iconic Ed Force One logo, while the back is adorned with Iron Maiden's mascot Eddie. Each Aviationtag is a one-of-a-kind – a perfect blend of aviation history and rock 'n' roll. Additionally, each Aviationtag comes with a unique booklet that includes an exclusive interview with Bruce Dickinson.

Up the Irons!

Note: Each Aviationtag is unique. Depending on the aircraft, they differ in their feel, thickness of the material and color. Small bumps tell of the many years in the skies and express the character of days gone by. Small scratches, paint chips and bumps are completely normal and give the Aviationtag its special charm - that of a vintage product made from upcycled materials. These special features are not the result of the production process, but reflect the condition of the aircraft material used!

As we celebrate the versatility of the Boeing 747-400 series with this edition, we used different version for the engraving on the Aviationtag. When using it as a keyring or luggage tag, we recommend using the Aviationtag protective cover .

Boeing 747-400: The Boeing 747-400 series is one of the most versatile variants of the "Queen of the Skies." In addition to the standard passenger version (-400), the lineup includes the 747-400M combi, the -400F dedicated freighter, and the -400ER, which boasts an impressive range of up to 14,045 km.

The -400ERF further enhances cargo capacity with a maximum takeoff weight of 412,769 kg. Designed for high-density domestic routes, the -400D could accommodate up to 666 (The number of the beast!) passengers.

These costs are set by the local authorities and are outside our control.

Yes, small dents, scratches, paint chips or other signs of use are possible. These marks do not come from production, but from the aircraft’s time in service, flying millions of miles and being exposed to weather, UV radiation and extreme conditions at high altitude. They are part of what makes every Aviationtag unique – a genuine piece of aviation history.
