Airbus A320neo - VT-WJC Random Flag
Often bought together
Here you’re buying ONE random Aviationtag from the Indian flag. It can be green or orange, and with a lot of luck, it may even include white as well. Limited to one per person and cannot be combined with the Collector Set!
Some aircraft are remembered for their long careers. VT-WJC stands out because its story ended much sooner than expected. The Airbus A320neo was delivered to GoAir on December 21, 2018, later operated under Go First, and spent just 1,273 days in regular scheduled service – only 3 years, 5 months, and 26 days. In 2025, the aircraft was cut up in France and now lives on in this Aviationtag edition.
What makes this edition so special is not just its short service life, but also the circumstances in which it ended. GoAir renamed itself Go First in 2021 and sought to reposition itself. But the airline came under severe pressure as more and more A320neo aircraft in its fleet were grounded due to problems with Pratt & Whitney GTF engines. Issues included fan blades, an oil seal, and the combustion chamber liner. At the same time, replacement engines were not available in time. Technical problems thus became an operational and financial crisis that Go First ultimately could not overcome.
That’s why this aircraft tag made from original aircraft material represents more than just metal. It preserves a chapter of recent aviation history, in which a modern jet became a rare collector’s item made from genuine aircraft material after only a short time. As an aircraft-material keychain and Airbus A320neo Aviationtag, this edition combines upcycled aircraft material with a story that still resonates today.
