Aviationtag EI-CVC – Collector Set

For those who can't decide or prefer to tell the complete story of an aircraft, there is the Aviationtag EI-CVC Collector Set. This set includes all four color variants of the edition: white, Irish green, green/white, and black/white. Each individual tag was made from original aircraft skin of the Aer Lingus Airbus A320 EI-CVC, MSN 1443, named 'St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn.'

The Airbus A320 began its service with Aer Lingus in 2001 and remained in operation as EI-CVC in European scheduled traffic for over two decades. From Dublin, it flew regular routes to the UK, across Europe, and to numerous holiday destinations before taking its last flight to St. Athan in 2024. Parts of the aircraft skin were secured and upcycled in Germany into this limited Aviationtag edition.

In the Collector Set, this story becomes particularly tangible, as the different color variants show various areas of the former livery. The typical green, the clear white, the striking green/white combination, and the black/white tags with their remnants of labeling reflect the many facets of the EI-CVC. Each surface bears its own signs of use from the line service, making the set a compact piece of Aer Lingus history.

Whether as the centerpiece of your collection, as a special gift, or as a basis to cover four different uses – with the EI-CVC Collector Set, you secure all variants of this edition in one step, including the full story of the Airbus A320 MSN 1443.

Note: Every tag from the EI-CVC edition is one of a kind. Each Aviationtag is cut from original aircraft skin of the Aer Lingus Airbus A320 EI-CVC (MSN 1443, “St. Kealin / Caoilfhionn”) and therefore differs slightly in feel, material thickness and colour. Small irregularities tell the story of many years in European airline service and highlight the character of bygone days. Minor scratches, paint chips and surface variations are completely normal and give the Aviationtag its special charm – the charm of a genuine vintage product made from upcycled aircraft materials. These features are not caused by the production process but reflect the authentic condition of the original EI-CVC aircraft material.

When using your tag as a keychain or luggage tag, we recommend adding the Aviationtag cover for extra protection.

Airbus A320 EI-CVC: Airbus A320 EI-CVC with manufacturer’s serial number MSN 1443 is a twin-engine, short- to medium-haul narrowbody aircraft built by European manufacturer Airbus S.A.S. Yes, small dents, scratches, paint chips or other signs of use are possible. These marks do not come from production, but from the aircraft’s time in service, flying millions of miles and being exposed to weather, UV radiation and extreme conditions at high altitude. They are part of what makes every Aviationtag unique – a genuine piece of aviation history.
