Note: Every tag is one of a kind. Depending on the aircraft, the feel, material thickness, and color can vary. Small imperfections tell the story of many years in the air and bring the character of past decades to life. Minor scratches, paint wear, and irregularities are completely normal and give your Aviationtag its unique charm—true vintage character made from upcycled aircraft material. These marks are not caused by the production process; they reflect the authentic condition of the original aircraft skin.
Additional note for this edition: after around ten years in storage exposed to changeable weather, the paint can show genuine age. Small chips and wear at edges and especially in darker or black painted sections are normal and part of the aircraft’s authentic patina.
For use as a keychain or luggage tag, we recommend the Aviationtag protective cover.
Boeing 747-246F (N746CK): This Boeing 747 is a true freighter from the start—no later passenger conversion and no combi variant. N746CK (MSN 22989) first flew on October 7, 1982 and was delivered in December 1982. During its Japan Airlines years, it was part of the JAL “Super Logistics” cargo fleet and wore the Super Logistics livery for a period. Built as a factory 747-200 freighter, it is designed around cargo operations: the iconic hinged nose door enables straight-in loading of oversized freight, and the main-deck side cargo door supports efficient handling. In November 2008, the aircraft joined Kalitta Air and continued flying as N746CK. From August 2015, it was stored at Oscoda, Michigan. Now, selected upcycled aircraft material from this Jumbo freighter becomes our Aviationtag x Kalitta Air edition.

We ship to most countries worldwide, with only a few exceptions. For most destinations, we offer standard shipping with DHL – our Economy Class – as well as express shipping with DHL Express – our First Class. The exact shipping costs depend on the destination country, shipping method and weight of your order and will be calculated for your delivery address at checkout.
Delivery time depends on whether you choose standard shipping or express shipping. With DHL Express, your order usually reaches you worldwide within a few days. Standard shipping can take significantly longer depending on the destination country; for distant countries and due to customs processing in the destination country, delivery may take up to 6 weeks.
For orders to Germany, the EU, the United Kingdom and the USA, all fees are already covered with your order; there should be nothing extra to pay upon delivery. For all other countries, your home country may charge additional duties, taxes or fees upon import, which must be paid by you. These costs are set by the local authorities and are outside our control.
Yes, small dents, scratches, paint chips or other signs of use are possible. These marks do not come from production, but from the aircraft’s time in service, flying millions of miles and being exposed to weather, UV radiation and extreme conditions at high altitude. They are part of what makes every Aviationtag unique – a genuine piece of aviation history.
