Behold the incredible journey of our Aviationtag created from the Breguet Atlantic, registered as 61+08. This remarkable aircraft was constructed in 1966 and served as a vital part of the German Navy. Its service life came to a close in 2001 when it was officially retired and designated as an "Instructional Airframe".

In 2005, the time had come to bid farewell, and the aircraft was dismantled. Its wings, however, found a new home at the Museum Flugwelt Altenburg Nobitz, where our journey begins. The Breguet Atlantic, also known as the BR 1150, was a unique maritime patrol aircraft developed through international collaboration. This exceptional aircraft was specifically designed for maritime reconnaissance, patrols, and anti-submarine warfare. Unlike many other maritime patrol aircraft that were adapted from civilian aircraft, the Breguet Atlantic was built from the ground up to excel in these very roles. Now, its legacy continues as an Aviationtag, a piece of history, and a conversation starter.

A notice: If you want a shiny or new-looking tag, you shouldn't buy this edition. This series is clearly almost 70 years old. Each Aviationtag bears traces of aviation history and has bumps, scratches, dents, rust and paint chips, but this is what makes each individual tag unique. Unfortunately, the backs in particular could no longer be restored and the paint can come off over large areas. This cannot be accepted as a reason for complaint.

Each plane tag is unique. Depending on the aircraft, they differ in their feel, thickness of the material and color. Small bumps tell of the many years in the skies and express the character of days gone by. Small scratches, paint chips and bumps are completely normal and give the Aviationtag its special charm - that of a vintage product made from upcycled materials. These special features are not the result of the production process, but reflect the condition of the aircraft material used!

We recommend using the Aviationtag protective case .

Breguet BR1150 Atlantic : The Breguet BR1150 Atlantic is a testament to international collaboration and excellent construction. In response to a 1958 NATO specification, the aircraft was developed in collaboration with the Société d'Étude et de Construction de Breguet Atlantic (SECBAT). After the initial order of 60 Atlantics in 1963, the aircraft entered service in 1965. The Atlantic was able to demonstrate its capabilities in missions such as reconnaissance, anti-submarine warfare and ground attack. In the 1980s and 1990s, models such as the Atlantique 2 (ATL2) and the planned Atlantique 3 were further developed.
