Welcome to Aviationtag, N7705A!

In October 2004, the US airline AirTran Airways received a new addition in the form of a Boeing 737-700 with the Manufacturer's Serial Number (MSN) 32744 and the Line Number 1584. Equipped with 12 business class seats and 125 in economy class, the machine was registered as N169AT for ten years and operated domestically in the USA.

In 2014, the Boeing 737-700 moved from Atlanta to Dallas, where it found its new home with Southwest Airlines and from then on took off with the registration N7705A. As a classic low-cost carrier, Southwest changed the configuration to a one-class cabin with 143 economy class seats. On January 16, 2020, the machine flew for the last time and landed five minutes late at Pinal Airpark, where it was later dismantled into its individual parts and used as a Aviationtag was prepared.

We are delighted to announce that the N7705A will be the first Boeing 737-700 in the Aviationtag-Family welcome!

Note: Every tag is unique. Depending on the plane, tags may vary in terms of haptics, material thickness and colour. Small blemishes bear witness to the plane’s long history and are an authentic reminder of its glory days over the clouds. Small scratches, flaky paint and imperfections are totally normal and give our Aviationtags their unique charm – the charm of a vintage product crafted from upcycled materials. These quirks are not the result of the production process, they simply reflect the state of the aircraft material we use when it was extracted. The original aircraft paint of this edition is rather sensitive, so please take good care of your tag!

If you want to use it as a key-chain or bag-tag we strongly suggest to use the Aviationtag protection cover.

Boeing 737: The Boeing 737 is a twinjet narrow-body airliner that went into serial production in 1967. Boeing released a modernised version of the model – the Boeing 737 NG (Next Generation) – in 1993. To increase operating efficiency, the Next Generation 737 aircrafts were fitted with improved engines, modified avionics systems and newly developed wing panels. The new NG planes come in four different sizes ranging from 126 to 220 seats. Their flight range is approximately 5,500 km.

We ship to most countries worldwide, with only a few exceptions. For most destinations, we offer standard shipping with DHL – our Economy Class – as well as express shipping with DHL Express – our First Class. The exact shipping costs depend on the destination country, shipping method and weight of your order and will be calculated for your delivery address at checkout.

Delivery time depends on whether you choose standard shipping or express shipping. With DHL Express, your order usually reaches you worldwide within a few days. Standard shipping can take significantly longer depending on the destination country; for distant countries and due to customs processing in the destination country, delivery may take up to 6 weeks.

For orders to Germany, the EU, the United Kingdom and the USA, all fees are already covered with your order; there should be nothing extra to pay upon delivery. For all other countries, your home country may charge additional duties, taxes or fees upon import, which must be paid by you. These costs are set by the local authorities and are outside our control.

Yes, small dents, scratches, paint chips or other signs of use are possible. These marks do not come from production, but from the aircraft’s time in service, flying millions of miles and being exposed to weather, UV radiation and extreme conditions at high altitude. They are part of what makes every Aviationtag unique – a genuine piece of aviation history.

If you lose your Aviationtag, our Lost & Found Service can help: simply register it on our “Register” page using the serial number, aircraft registration and your contact details. For tags with a NoLongerLost QR code, scan the code on the back with your smartphone or enter the 8-digit code on nolongerlost.com to register your tag. If your Aviationtag is found, the finder can scan the code or report it to us, and we will do our best to help bring it back to you.
