The Royal Air Force back at Aviationtag!
We proudly present the latest Aviationtag Edition - English Electric Canberra PR.9, a legendary military aircraft of the British Royal Air Force. The English Electric Canberra was a twin-jet British fighter from the Cold War era, built from 1944 onwards.
The history of our Canberra PR.9 with registration XH135 dates back to 1959 when it was originally built as H135. Until 1982, it served as a reconnaissance and light bomber aircraft for the Royal Air Force before being stored at RAF St Athan. After a reactivation, the PR.9 was finally retired in 2006 in Kemble.
Despite several failed private rescue attempts for XH135, the Canberra was ultimately scrapped in 2022. We were able to secure some parts to upcycle into our Aviationtag Edition, keeping the legend of XH135 alive as an Aviationtag.
Secure a piece of British Royal Air Force history with the XH135 Aviationtag Edition!
